SCORE or Select Committee on Recycling and Environment is a state mandated program funded by a grant program to help residents with all types of recycling. The main goal of SCORE is to provide all types of recycling, whether it is convenient drop off locations, paper shredding opportunities, tire or old furniture recycling and many other recycling events. For ages 55 and older, the Coon Rapid Senior Center is the place to be! The Senior Center is open Monday through Friday 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m. and offer a wide variety of activities such as educational classes, trips to local social events, a "Senior Companion" program and other exciting opportunities. One hassle many people deal with is licensing their pets. Coon Rapids makes this process simple and hassle free. You can fill out a form online or you can go to City Hall located at 11155 Robinson Drive. Dog licenses are $10 payable to the city of Coon Rapids and are good for one year.
